Q: Allah Ta’ala blessed me with a son and we decided on keeping the name Aarib. Kindly guide us regarding its meaning and other details.

Bismillaah

A: We are commanded to keep the names of the Ambiyaa and the pious of the past. Hence, we suggest that you keep the name Aarif.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
