Delivering haraam food for Uber eats

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I would like to know if it is permissible to do Uber eats delivery job. I am currently in Australia and I am afraid that some food may be halal and some may be not. So I am confused if its ok Islamically to do such a job.

If it is not permissible, then one of my friends told me whenever I get option on my mobile application for delivery I can see what item is delivered and check if its halal and then accept to deliver or else reject it. I am not sure but if such an option is available then can you please confirm if its permissible.

Bismillaah

A: Since there is a way for you to come to know whether the food you are delivering is halaal or haraam, then you should find out and deliver the halaal food.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
