Respect for the Ambiyaa (alayhimus salaam)

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Nabi Aadam (alaihis salaam) was in heaven and becuase he disobeyed Allah he was thrown out of heaven. Now my question is that the father did a mistake and Allah is punishing the children who had nothing to do with the father’s mistake. According to me Allah should have kept each and everyone in heaven first and tell them not to repeat the mistake which Aadam (alaihis salaam) did. If someone does the mistake then he should be thrown out.

Bismillaah

A: Before Aadam (alaihis salaam) had landed on earth, he was already forgiven as the Qur’aan Shareef says: ثُمَّ اجْتَبَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ وَهَدَىٰ. In spite of this, Allah sent Hadhrat Aadam (alaihis salaam) because He had already declared Aadam (alaihis salaam) to be His vicegerent. In future, when you speak of the Ambiyaa (alaihimus salaam) then don’t ever use the word ‘thrown out’. This is a gross indication of disrespect and disregard. Be very careful when speaking of the ambiyaa.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
