Ruling on 3 Talaaqs: Issued at Once or Over Iddah?

Q: I need the ruling with regards to 3 talaaqs, can it be issued at once or does it get issued over the period of iddah?

Bismillaah

A: To issue 3 divorces in one sitting is forbidden. However, all 3 will be valid whether issued in one sitting or different sittings. The right way is to issue just one until the iddat has ended. if someone issues one talaaq in each period of tuhr (purity) it is also permissible.
