Keeping a distance from a brother who is disobedient and rude to one’s parents

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I want to ask about my brother. He is very disobedient and extremely cruel to our parents. If we part ways until he dies, is that ok?

Bismillaah

A: I suggest that you keep a safe distance from him and greet and help him whenever he needs help but from a distance.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
