Status of giving dawah to people

Q: What is the status of giving dawah to people towards good and abstaining them from bad? Is it fard,wajib or sunnah?

Bismillaah

A: In matters that are clear and conclusive then it is the duty of every individual to command others regarding it according to his authority and capability. As for those matters of deen that are subject to interpretation and are not conclusive then it will be the duty of the qualified learned ulama to enjoin others to practise it.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
