Can Wearing a Wet, Impure Dress Invalidate Your Salah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My mother washed one of my impure dresses along with other dresses as it was wet in the rain and had mud over them. I didn’t know about her washing the dresses, so I wore one of those dress and prayed. Do I have to repeat the salah? She did not use soap.

Bismillaah

A: If you are referring to all being washed in a machine then consider them to be paak. In future be more careful. Wash the impure clothing and then put them into the washing.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
