Should the latecomer recite sana when the Imaam is reciting qiraat?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: If I enter the mosque to offer Maghrib or Esha namaz. I know that the people offering Namaz are in the 1st Rakat but the Imam has already started reciting a Surah from Holy Quran after reciting Surah Fatiha first. In such a situation do I have to say “Sanaa” or shall I keep silent and join the Namaz?

Bismillaah

A: Remain silent.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
