Shy 30-Year-Old Male Wants to Get Married, But Unemployed and Hesitant to Tell Parents

Q: I am a 30 year old male. I want to get married but I feel shy to tell my parents or anyone about getting me married. I am also unemployed.

A:

Speak to some of the elders of your family.

Recite the following dua after Salaah.

اَللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنَا بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِناَ بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
