Q: I recently underwent oral surgery and was given and IV. After it was removed they put a band aid over it and taped it. When I removed the bandaid, there was blood on the inside of the band aid, and couldn’t really see any blood on my arm. I forgot to rinse my arm and made wudu (cupping my hand, filling with water and letting it water flow down my arm while scrubbing it with the other hand).
Was my arm pure after I made wudu?
Even if there was a bit of blood on it before I started wudu? I don’t remember seeing for sure, but it is most possible that water from my arm splashed all around the sink. Do I have to worry about all that water, as well as the parts my family may have touched?
A: If there was no trace of impurity on you arm your wudu is complete.
