Synthetic Hair in Islam: Permissibility and Restrictions

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I wanted to know if synthetic hair is permissible in Islaam and if so, what can and cannot be done whilst having this type of hair on one’s head (i.e. reading Quraan, etc.)?

Bismillaah

A: Though it is permissible, but some of our senior ulama disapprove of this.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
