Holding books that contains verses of the Quraan without wudhu

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it permissible to hold books/folders that contain parts of the Quran (a few surahs for example) without wudu?

Bismillaah

A: If there are a few verses and the major portion does not have Quraan, it will be permissible to carry it or to touch it without wudu. However, one should refrain from placing his hand on the verses of the Quraan.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
