Making masah after applying henna on one’s head

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: If someone has applied henna and wants to perform wudhu, should one remove a covering bag and wipe the head, still covered with henna, or can one wipe over the covering itself.

Bismillaah

A: Yes, remove the covering, just as the masah cannot be made over a scarf.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
