Is it Safe for a 3-Year-Old to Sleep Between Asr and Maghrib?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My question is that my daughter is 3 years old. Is it also forbidden for her to sleep between asr and maghrib? I have heard, if we sleep between asr and maghrib, we could get bad ilness? If we are tired and just want to lie down for a while, is that ok?

Bismillaah

A:

1. No, it is not forbidden.

2. Yes.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
