Traveling Alone to Visit Parents in Pakistan: Is Pardah Permissible?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I want to go to visit my parents after two years. I don’t have enough money for traveling with two persons. I live in Canada and my parents live in Pakistan. If I go alone to Pakistan with complete pardah, is it permissible for traveling because tickets are two expensive.

Bismillaah

A: It is not permissible for a woman to travel the safar distance (78km or more) without a mahram.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
