Wudhu breaking when sleeping while lying against something

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: What is the law regarding deep sleep breaking wudu? What is the correct view on this? Some say that if a person does not take any support while sleeping his wudu won’t break.

Bismillaah

A: If he is so fast asleep that he loses control of himself then he should repeat his wudhu.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
