Three talaaqs in the absence of the wife

Q: My friend in the presence of his mother, brother, sister in law and sister gave three Talat to his wife. The wife wasn’t present there and was living away in Pakistan. My friend has been living separately since 2 years. Is the divorce done? The wife has’nt been informed yet.

A: The three talaaqs are valid.
