Preventing one’s mother from remarrying

Q:

1. My cousin’s husband passed away last year and she wants to know that if she remarries, which husband will be her partner in the ahkira?

2. Does her children have a right to stop her from getting married.

A:

1. She should first make an effort to get to Jannah. Once she is in Jannah she will get whatever her heart desires.

2. No.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
