Churches in the time of Hazrat Isa (Alaihis Salaam)

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Were churches present in the time of Hazrat Isa (alaihis salaam) or they are modern changes? Is it permissible to joke about churches?

Bismillaah

A:

They were present, but not like how they are in this day. In this day you cannot find anything of Christianity that is not distorted.

Don’t waste your time in useless things. Time is valuable and make your time valuable by talking about things that are valuable, like the remembrance of Allah Ta`ala, aakhirat etc.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
