Divorce, Pregnancy, and Remarriage: Navigating Islamic Law

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: In August 2014 my husband gave me one talaq out of anger. We then got back together. I had one period and then found out I was pregnant. wWe had intercourse for the following months. Then in December 2014 my husband phoned me and gave me two talaqs then i hung up the phone. I gave birth and we have been seperated since. Ive been online and I found this : “First Talaq was revoked. Gave birth after two Talaqs, they have to remarry by agreeing on a mohr. And they have to repent to the Allah” Is this true ? Or was all three talaqs valid?

Bismillaah

A: All three talaaqs are valid. There is no way to revoke this marriage.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
