Waswasa regarding the Quraan

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Nowadays im getting thoughts, which I think are waswas. I’m thinking that is there any chance that we have interpreted the Quran in a different manner than what was intended by Allah. I personally think that it isn’t so and this is just a waswasa

Bismillaah

A: Don’t let your mind go behind these thoughts. The Qur’an is the word of Allah Ta’ala and the interpretation of the Qur’an is explained by Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in his mubaarak Ahaadith. The Sahaabah (Radhiyallahu Anhum) had explained to the ummah the meanings and interpretations of the verses which they had learnt from Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam).

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
