Helping My Fiancé Navigate His Struggles as a Muslim Convert

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My fiancé has a problem and he has no one to turn to for help. He is now struggling with his beliefs as a Muslim and questions a lot and I am unable to answer because I’m a recent revert. He says Islam is his life but he still struggles even though he knows that without Islam he will be unhappy and dead inside. Please help me, so I can help him. He’s a depressed person due to how he grew up and the culture. It really takes a toll on him. I want to marry him but he needs help

Bismillaah

A: The best is not to talk to him. Premarital communication is wrong, filthy and impermissible. Leave out all premarital communication at once. Beg Allah Ta`ala’s forgiveness.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
