Tajdeed-e-Iman: A Must for Muslims?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: What is tajdeed-e-iman? Is it comulsory on muslim if someone dies with out it whether he would go to hell or Jannah. Enlighten me with quran and hadith.

Bismillaah

A: Tajdeed means renewing and refreshing. A muslim should refreshen his imaan all the time by doing good works, reciting the kalimah, having good intentions, and avoiding places and people that are corrupt and not committed to deen etc.

Imaan is the condition for admission into Jannah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
