Marrying someone involved in bid’ah practices

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My family follow deobandi practices strictly and refrain from all bid’ah but I want to know whether it is allowed to marry my daughter in a family who offer five time salah, are decent but are involved in some bid’ahs practices?

Bismillaah

A: Generally these types of marriages don’t go very well. They have some problem or the other that results in disputes and disharmony.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
