Divorced and Living Together for Allah’s Sake: What’s the Ruling?

Q: If a husband has given a divorce to his wife by saying talaaq three times and then they live together saying that it is for the sake of Allah. What is the ruling?

Bismillaah

A: For the sake of Allah, it is haraam for them to be living together. They must separate immediately.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
