Q: I took a wow that if I get employment opportunity which is halaal I will fast for 40 days and go for umrah. Can I start fasting immediately after taking a wow or wait until I’m employed or get a business opportunity? Appreciate your priceless answer. Jazakallah
A: The vow will only be binding after you get employment.
