Is Singing a Sin in Islam?

Q: If I sing sometimes will it be a sin? Is singing prohibited in Islam?

Bismillaah

A: If you sing to yourself it is permissible, provided the content is in keeping to the teachings of deen. Do not adopt the signing style of professional singers.
