Order of Reciting Surahs in Salat: Correct Sequence Explained

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: What is the order of reciting surahs in salat? Can one recite Surah AL-Ikhlaas before Surah At-Tin? What is the correct order?

Bismillaah

A: One should recite the surahs in sequence. The surahs that come first should be recited before the surahs that come later on. Hence one should recite Surah Tin before Surah Ikhlaas.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
