Doing something out of ignorance

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I wanted to ask that if a person rejects a sunnah or an ahkaam of deen or shariah ruling, not knowing that it is correct. i.e. out of ignorance as he did not know about it and he thought it is wrong, did this person commit shirk?

Bismillaah

A: This is on account of his ignorance. He should make taubah for this.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
