Q: I wanted to find out if a person purchased an ebook from the seller who also has stipulated copyright laws in the ebook. i.e the buyer may not share it with others. Whereas with ebooks it is very easy to share it with friends just change the format to PDF and then you can it via email, Whatsapp etc. So will this be permissible? And if someone else shares the book with you can you download it and make use of it?
A: It is permissible.
