Waseela in Dua After Azan for Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: What is the position of waseela that we make dua to be granted to our beloved prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) after Azan?

Bismillaah

A: Al-Waseela refers to a position which is exclusive to Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) where, on the day of Qiyaamah, Allah Ta’ala will grant Him the honour to intercede on behalf of the entire creation for Allah Ta’ala to commence the reckoning.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
