Reciting Surah Faatiha in Quiet Salaah: Clarifying Imam Muhammad’s Opinion.

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Can I recite Surah Faatiha in quiet Salaah because I heard this is the opinion of Imam Muhammad (Rahmatullahi Alayh). Please clarify.

Bismillaah

A: No. In all Salaah, whether silent or loud, the muqtadi must remain silent behind the Imaam.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
