Leasing out one’s premises to a bookmaker

Q: I have a commercial property which I want to rent out and have a potential international tenant that wants to take the commercial property for rent. There business is a bookmaker. It conducts business through a chain of licensed betting shops all over the country. Is it allowed for me as a landlord to rent the shop to a business of this type?

A: Betting is gambling, and gambling is haraam.
