Q: I have a problem. My wife has told me something disturbing that happened to her a very long time ago involving my immediate family member. She told me this person tried to kiss her and touch her but she moved away and nothing happened but she never told anyone till now (me). The problem I have now is she has been studying this and has told me our marriage haraam and I have to leave as we were living in sin. Since she told me this, I have moved out and this has caused a big issues within the family as I have not told the real reason. What shall I do? Please help. I have grown up children.
A: If he had not touched her with lust nor did he kiss her then she is not out of your nikaah.
