Gargling one’s mouth after ghusal with drinkable water

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Tap water that comes in my house is not clean. So when I perform ghusal, I don’t gargle. Instead, after doing ghusal I gargle with clean water. Is my ghusal valid?

Bismillaah

A: If the water used to perform ghusal is not good for drinking purposes but is paak, the ghusal will be valid provided you rinse your mouth and insert water in your nose after the ghusal.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
