Q: What is regarded as a small room in the mas’alah of Sajdah-e-Tilaawat?

Bismillaah

A: The Fuqaha have explained that a small room refers to ten shar’ee meters by ten shar’ee meters or less (i.e. 5 square meters or less).

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

ويجرد زوجته للجماع إذا كان البيت صغيرا مقدار خمسة أذرع أو عشرة (هندية 5/328)
