Contributing towards the burial of a non-Muslim child

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Can one contribute to the burial of a minor non-Muslim child considering that all children are born Muslims?

Bismillaah

A: A child born to non-Muslim parents will be treated as a non-Muslim (unless the child is of the age of understanding and proclaims Imaan). Hence when a Muslim knows that the burial of this non Muslim child will take place in an un-Islamic manner, then one should not donate and contribute to this cause.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
