Leaning While Eating: Hanafi Fiqh vs Hadith

Q: I heard an Aalim say that the Kitaabs of hanafi fiqh state that there is no problem with eating while leaning.

1.What does this mean?

2. The Hadith that mentions we must not lean and eat. What type of leaning does it refer to?

Bismillaah

A: If a person is ill and he has to lean then he may eat in that state.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
