Marrying My Sikh Boyfriend: What’s Next?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I love a Sikh boy and I want to marry him. I love him a lot and we are in a very serious relationship and we want to marry. What should we do?

Bismillaah

A: It is not permissible for you to get married to a sikh boy who is a non-Muslim. If you marry him, the nikaah will be invalid and you will be perpetually living in zina. You should immediately cut off all ties with this boy and sincerely repent to Allah Ta’ala for getting involved in this major sin.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
