Q: Zaid was seeing a dream in which he was urinating, he woke up and saw his underwear was wet. It looked like a stain of urine. Is it compulsory for Zaid to take a bath or is it permissible for him to just wash the area where there is najaasat (filth)?
A: If urine had come out whilst sleeping, then ghusal is not waajib. He should clean himself and wash the soiled area upon which urine had come.
