Can Rujoo Save My Marriage After Three Divorces?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My question is that my husband gave me one talaaq in april 2016 after which we contacted a mufti in Stockholm Sweden and he said we can do rujoo so we did it. But again on the 22nd August 2016 my husband gave me the second divorce on the phone call and later on the 23rd August he messaged me that he is giving me the third divorce. My question is that do we have still any possibility of rujoo or our nikah is over?

Bismillaah

A: Through your husband issuing the third talaaq, your nikaah has terminated. It is no longer permissible for you both to continue living together. Similarly it is not possible for you both to remarry unless halaala takes place.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
