Q: If a person is going for Haj/umrah but lands in Makkah first, where does he/she put on his/her Ihraam? And if a person Performing Haj for someone else who’s deceased, his Qurbaani whose name should it be sacrificed on?
A: At the meeqaat.
The dam-e-tamattu` will be on behalf of the person for whom the hajj is being made.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
