In Jannah a person will have all that he desires for

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I am well aware that all the inhabitants of Jannah will be married as no one will remain single there. My question is who will a woman marry in Jannah if she was unmarried in the worldly life?

1. Will she choose a husband herself?

or 2) Will Allah choose a husband for her?

or 3) Will a man from among the inhabitants of Jannah ask her hand in marriage?

or 4) Will Allah create a man just for her, like a male Hoor?

Can a woman supplicate to Allah that He would marry her to one particular man in Paradise? (That is of course if they were both admitted there by Allah’s mercy). That man could be a “shaheed” (martyr), considering that he died of cirrhosis, a stomach disease. Will a shaheed marry human wives along with the Hoors? If yes, is there a limited number of human wives he can have, or will he have as much as he pleases? Would Allah truly grant her that very man she wishes to marry in Jannah?(Not a doppelganger, or another man who looks just like him, or a copy of that man whom she would believe is him, but, in fact, isn’t him)?

Bismillaah

A: Aspire and try to enter Jannah. Once you get there you will have all that you desire.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
