Q: Please could you give me the meanings of the following girls names with the correct spelling and if they are permissible to keep

Lamia

Lamiah

Zaria

Alaya

Tasneem

Zayanah

Bismillaah

A: Lamia – shining (with `ayn) / take everything (with hamzah)

Lamiah

Zaria – to blow away(with zaal) / to rebuke – rear portion of the lower jaw (with zaa)

Alaya – loftiness

Tasneem – a spring in Jannah

Zayanah – Beautiful

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
