Giving doubtful food items to non-Muslims

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it permissible to give away doubtful eatables (doubtful because few ingredients are mashbooh) like chocolates, biscuits and similar items to a non-Muslim?

Bismillaah

A: If you are not clear of there being haraam ingredients then you may give it away to a non-Muslim.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
