Teeth Filing: Permissible or Not?

Q: Is it permissible to file one’s teeth?

Bismillaah

A: If through filing the teeth you are referring to thinning the teeth, then it will not be permissible. However, if this is a process to only clean the teeth and remove the plaque, then it will be permissible.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
