Dealing with Involuntary Urine Drops During Prayer

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I am 22 years old and un married. Due to abdomen disease and negative acts like masturbation, I lose urine drops non voluntarily. I do not have control over it. Even some times I do not know they have come out. Mostly when I sit for wudhu, after completing wudhu, when I stand up or during Sajdah. I mostly doubt that urine drop is ejected. Please guide me about the way how to handle this situation. Mostly I leave namaaz due to thinking that I am not a clean person.

Bismillaah

A: After relieving yourself, make sure that all the urine has been passed out. Thereafter, place some tissue or toilet paper around your private area and walk around or lie down until you are fully sure that whatever urine may have been left that has come out. Thereafter, perform the wudhu and don’t pay attention to any doubt or feeling unless you are completely certain that urine has come out.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
