Bangles: A Symbol of Marriage in Indian and Muslim Culture?

Q: In our Indian culture bangles are a symbol of married women (with alive husband). Is it permissible also in Muslim culture or not? Is it necessary to wear bangles for Muslim woman who are married?

A: Yes, it is permissible. In Islam, it is permissible for married as well as unmarried women.
