Marrying a boy who is lower in status than oneself

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Can a girl be married to a family who is lower in status than her family when the family of the boy and the boy are religious people? There is no matter of kufu in this?

Bismillaah

A: If her parents are pleased with boy’s Deen, Akhlaaq and mannerisms, then it is permissible for her to get married to him.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
