Daughter from a woman’s first marriage getting married to second husband’s brother

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I would like to know if my daughter from my first marriage and my brother in-law from my second marriage are haraam for each other? Can they get married? Just need clarification as to whether they are uncle and niece or not?

Bismillaah

A: They are not mahrams to each other. Hence, it is permissible for them to get married.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
